Three kegs tapped at Hamamatsucho SOUL BIRD, with Weizen and Imperial IPA appearing
Cafe & CraftBeer Dining SOUL BIRD, a beer pub in Hamamatsucho, Tokyo, has updated the tap information posted on March 24. The three new beers on tap are Myoko Kogen Beer's "Weizen," BREWMIN''s "Sour No Uwa-sa," and BAIRD BEER's "Imperial IPA," bringing the lineup to a total of 10 taps, including distinctive domestic and international beers.
In the latest post from Cafe & CraftBeer Dining SOUL BIRD, the tap list was announced to match Tuesday service (March 24). The highlight this time is the three newly tapped beers introduced by the venue as "three cool kegs."
First up is Myoko Kogen Beer’s Weizen. It is a glass inspired by the traditional South German style, built around yeast-derived aromas and a soft acidity. Next, BREWMIN'’s Sour No Uwa-sa offers a light body and an easy-drinking profile. Its acidity is not overly sharp, making it designed to pair well with meals. And BAIRD BEER’s Imperial IPA is introduced as an appealing beer with hop aromas reminiscent of earth and flowers, balanced by biscuit-like malt.
The day’s lineup is broad in style, with beers such as Yamaguchi Jibeer’s "Pale Ale," TAROS BREWING’s "WIZARDBORN NOIR," TAISETSU BEER’s "Sorachi Pilsner," Dieu Du Ciel!’s "Traveler in the Mist - Voyageur des Brumes," SETOUCHI BEER’s "Coffee Smoky Hazy IPA," and Varietal Beer’s "Twine Climber." From pale ale to imperial stout, ESB, and American IPA, it’s easy to choose according to mood.
The shop is located in the Hamamatsucho Station area and balances the ease of use of a cafe-dining spot with the freshness of a beer pub. The post also emphasizes an atmosphere where you can "drop in casually," making it a fit both for a drink after work and for a night of serious tasting. The taps also change quickly, so if there’s a beer you want, it would be best to come early.
