Japanese seafood dishes meet craft beer

NEIGHBOR craftbeer&grill, a beer pub in Nogata, Nakano, Tokyo, will host a “Japanese Seafood & Beer” event from September 19 to 23.

The food menu features five dishes: bonito carpaccio with ume and soy-jelly sauce; oyster and horse-meat tartare with Japanese pepper; charcoal-grilled octopus with seaweed butter sauce; Japanese-style seafood bouillabaisse with shrimp miso; and sea-bream stock pilaf. The menu combines seafood with Japanese-inspired flavors such as ume, seaweed butter, and shrimp miso.

Eight beers across several styles
