NEIGHBOR in Nogata Lists Eight Taps Featuring VERTERE and CYCAD Collaborations
NEIGHBOR, a beer pub in Nogata, Tokyo, has announced an eight-beer tap list featuring collaborations with VERTERE and CYCAD BREWING, along with distinctive beers from breweries including DD4D Brewing, FLORA FERMENTATION, and ASOBI BEER.
Eight beers spanning pale ales, sours, IPAs, and stouts
NEIGHBOR’s tap list covers a broad range of styles, from hop-forward IPAs and a refreshing fruit sour to a rye-infused Weizen, Belgian Amber Ale, and cacao milk stout.
The standout collaborations include “Pyracantha,” a NZ Pale Ale brewed by NEIGHBOR and VERTERE, and “HOT BLOOD IPA,” a West Coast IPA from NEIGHBOR and CYCADBREWING. The former offers a lighter, hop-aromatic option, while the latter is aimed at drinkers who enjoy a more pronounced bitter finish.
The IPA selection also includes DD4D Brewing’s “Time After Thyme,” described as a Citrus and Spice IPA, and Gangi Brewing’s “CRACKIN’,” a Casklish IPA brewed with orange peel. For a brighter and more tart profile, GAME BREW’s “FEEL SO FREE” is listed as a Fruit Sour Ale. ASOBI BEER’s “ASOBI かきかきスタウト,” a CACAO MILK STOUT, provides a richer, dessert-like alternative.
The remaining taps are FLORA FERMENTATION’s rye-infused “Bauer” and permanent’s Belgian Amber Ale “MELT.” Together, the lineup offers enough contrast for a tasting progression from lighter beers to richer and more assertive pours.
NEIGHBOR also recommends dishes such as a Genoese salt dog, corn risotto, mushroom carpaccio, fig carpaccio, salmon and jalapeño fritters, and squid peperoncino with green chili. Located at 6-30-26 Nogata, Nakano-ku, Tokyo, the beer pub is designed for enjoying craft beer alongside food. Tap availability may change, so checking the venue’s latest update before visiting is recommended.
