March 19 brings a two-beer feature: a “bitter IPA” and a “tropical hazy”

At P2B Haus in Kichijoji, Tokyo, two new kegs were tapped on March 19 from 16:00 to 23:00. The stars this time were Kampei! Brewing’s Munatsuzaka IPA (American IPA) and Shiga’s FLORA FERMENTATION’s Manticore (Hazy IPA).

"Munatsuzaka IPA" is described in the post as having a firm bitterness that feels like it “punches you in the chest.” It is a classic American IPA with pine- and grapefruit-like citrus notes, a grassy edge, and a slight dank hop character, plus solid body. Meanwhile, "Manticore" stands out for its tropical aroma of mango and passion fruit, along with a smooth mouthfeel. It does not stop at fruitiness alone; bitterness lingers gently toward the finish, making it a hazy that also satisfies those looking for real drinking depth.

The taps that day ranged widely, from lagers to fruit-driven styles

According to the day’s announcement, P2B Haus’s lineup, centered on its own beers and domestic breweries, included IPL, Hoppy Helles, Hazy Pale Ale, Session IPA, West Coast Pilsner, Fruit IPA, Fruit Ale, Hefeweizen, and Helles Lager. In other words, while the focus was on IPAs, the lineup also let guests work through everything from easy-drinking pours to aroma-forward styles and beers that pair well with food.

Located on the second floor in the Honmachi area of Kichijoji, P2B Haus is the kind of beer pub that works well for everyday visits, while also offering the fun of following daily tap updates. On days with two new keg launches, even a familiar bar suddenly gives you a clear reason to go today. If you want bitterness, choose Munatsuzaka IPA; if you want fruit character balanced with a lingering finish, choose Manticore. It is the kind of day that makes you want to compare styles side by side.
