Taki in Shibuya taps Nagisa Beer’s Yamamomo Ale with a rainy-day service
The Shibuya beer pub Taki announced a rainy-day service on June 27 and opened a new keg of Nagisa Beer’s limited Yamamomo Ale. The tap list also included three beers with distinct profiles.
Taki, a beer pub in Sakuragaoka, Shibuya, announced a rainy-day service on June 27. Located on the 3rd floor of the Shibuya Johnson Building, the bar focuses on Japanese craft beer and sake. It opens at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and 4:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays, making it an easy stop after work or on a weekend afternoon.
The highlight of the day was a newly tapped keg of Nagisa Beer’s limited Yamamomo Ale. Listed as a Kumano Berry Ale with 5.0% ABV and 15 IBU, it is described as a fruit beer with bright berry-like acidity, juicy fruit character, and a light, refreshing finish. It looks like a good match for the early-summer rainy season.
The tap list featured three beers with very different personalities:
1. Romanchic Village Brewery: Shukuhai IPA〜Romantic Village 30th Annibeersary IPA〜
2. Mikkeller TOKYO × Minoh Beer: Ume-chu
3. Nagisa Beer: Yamamomo Ale
Shukuhai IPA is the hop-forward choice, Ume-chu brings a plum-like fruit angle, and Yamamomo Ale leans into bright fruit character. For a pub like Taki, where the draft lineup changes regularly, each tap update reshapes the drinking experience. In Shibuya, it is a place where you can drop in for one beer or compare styles side by side.
