Two Guest Beer Taps Change at Moyamoya Base in Sapporo
Moyamoya Base, a beer pub in Sapporo’s Minami 2-jo Higashi area, has announced two guest tap changes. The new lineup pairs Miyazaki Hideji Beer’s lemon-forward Session Hazy IPA with NEKOBEER’s dessert-inspired milk stout.
Moyamoya Base, a beer pub located in Minami 2-jo Higashi, Chuo Ward, Sapporo, has refreshed its guest beer lineup. The two beers now featured are Miyazaki Hideji Beer’s “Hinata Lemon Fresh-Squeezed Session Hazy IPA” and NEKOBEER’s “Chocolatier Nyanpachi — Almond Vanilla Milk Stout.”
The “Hinata Lemon Fresh-Squeezed Session Hazy IPA” puts fresh citrus character at the center. Its light Session IPA profile is combined with the soft, rounded mouthfeel associated with a Hazy IPA, making it an easy choice for a refreshing first pour or a beer to enjoy with food.
In contrast, “Chocolatier Nyanpachi — Almond Vanilla Milk Stout” takes a richer, sweeter direction. Chocolate, almond, and vanilla-like notes are set against the roasted malt character of a stout, while the milk stout base contributes a smooth, dessert-like finish. It is the kind of beer that rewards slower sipping, especially toward the end of an evening.
Together, the two taps offer a clear contrast: bright citrus freshness on one side and a mellow, indulgent dark beer on the other. Starting with the lemon IPA before moving on to the milk stout would make for an especially enjoyable comparison.
Moyamoya Base is known for its changing guest taps, giving beer lovers a chance to encounter different breweries and styles in central Sapporo. Availability may change as kegs run out, so checking the pub’s latest updates before visiting is recommended.
