The Beer Shop Hirakata City (Hirakata, Osaka Prefecture) announced in a March 27 post that it had brought in three beers from Baskland, a brewery in Spain's Basque Country. From left in the photo are Frisch, Kaijyu, and Omako Basoa. Among them, Omako Basoa is an imperial stout made with cocoa, cacao, coffee beans, and vanilla beans, and its alcohol content is 17.5%. The shop also notes that it is recommended to share if you drink it inside, making this a beer best approached slowly and thoughtfully.
The shop is located in Hirakata Sun Plaza No. 3 Building, directly connected to Hirakata-shi Station, and serves both as a specialty beer retailer and a standing bar. A wooden counter with a warm feel makes it easy to enjoy a pint on the spot. That day's draft lineup featured Sapporo Black Label, Hirakata Smoke Ale, Session Citra White, Frigg, and No.2 Kisaragi IPA, offering a selection that let customers enjoy both domestic craft beer and overseas brews.
The post also announced that "Snack Arisa - Birthday Edition -" would be held for two days starting March 27. The shop was said to be open until 12:30 a.m. on March 27, making it the kind of place where you can stop by after work and enjoy the tap lineup one beer at a time while following the flow of the drafts.
