Kyoto's Higashiyama beer pub Bakushu Yumeyomi announced its draft beer lineup for its Monday, April 27, 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. service. The shop, tucked away in a corner of Gion, welcomes solo guests and takes no reservations, making it easy to stop by for a casual drink.

The day's taps feature five beers that balance lightness fitting for Golden Week with satisfying depth.

- Brasserie Knot / FLOWER
A gently fruity, refreshing Belgian white. One of Knot's standard beers and especially recommended.
- Nara Brewing / SPIRAL
An American Belgo-style beer centered on melon-like aromas, with hop character that spirals as the temperature changes.
- Mukai Craft / Sweet Potato Stout
A dark beer made with roasted sweet potatoes from Niyodo. Its hallmark is a balance of richness, mellowness, and crispness.
- Minoh Beer / Osaru IPA
A classic IPA lavishly brewed with five kinds of American hops. The notice says only a little remains, so those interested should hurry.
- YEBISU
A standard lager that's easy to choose as an everyday drink.

On the food side, the salsiccia sold out, and sudden croquettes appeared instead. Other items included cucumber nukazuke, simmered sawara roe, and potatoes topped with freshly made mayo, all of which pair well with beer. Even as beer prices continue to rise, you can sense the shop's intention to keep offering affordable snacks.

As for the business schedule, the shop will be closed the following Tuesday. It also announced that during Golden Week it plans to be open every day from April 29 through May 6, with Friday, May 1, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2 through Wednesday, May 6 (national holiday) from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and closed on Thursday, May 7. It's one to remember for the days when you want a quiet drink in Gion.
