Tokyo craft beer bar MAGIC HOUR KYODO has announced a special collaboration beer brewed with DD4D Brewing in Ehime’s Matsuyama for its second anniversary. In the Instagram post, the bar says the beer is planned to go on tap on August 8, 2026, and notes that the shop owner was present during the brew day.

DD4D Brewing traces its roots back to a select shop founded in Matsuyama in 1998. The brewery itself was launched in 2019, and today it continues to operate from Matsuyama with a focus on small-batch, wide-ranging beers and cross-industry collaborations. Its work has often moved beyond beer alone, making projects with bars, apparel, film, and other fields a natural fit for the brand.

The post says the team aimed to create a beer that reflects the character of both sides. Because the brew day stretched across three days, the project appears to have been built on more than a simple label swap. The beer’s style and full release details have not been revealed yet, but the anniversary tap opening should draw attention from Tokyo drinkers following DD4D’s latest collaboration.
