DD4D BREWING, a craft brewery based in Matsuyama, Ehime, will host a tap takeover at Quokka in Gyotoku, Ichikawa, Chiba, on September 27, 2026. The event will also feature a Mexican Food Night, bringing DD4D’s beers together with authentic Mexican-inspired dishes.

This will be DD4D’s second tap takeover at Quokka. In keeping with the brewery’s signature beer “Don Jalapeño,” the venue plans to serve tacos made with house-made tortillas, along with a variety of Mexican food. Additional food details will be announced by Quokka as they are finalized.

Beer lineup

The planned lineup includes DD4D IPA, Don Jalapeño, Emma Lavender Hazy IPA, Easy Walker Iyokan Lager, Nani Ga Suki? Chocolate Mint White Stout, and Time After Thyme Citrus and Spice IPA.

The six beers cover a broad range of styles and flavor profiles, from hop-forward IPAs and a fruit-accented lager to a pastry-inspired stout. Easy Walker also highlights DD4D’s connection to Ehime, using locally associated iyokan citrus to create a bright, refreshing lager.

DD4D’s Yukkie will appear as a special guest, offering visitors a chance to learn more about the brewery and its beers. Apparel and lifestyle goods, including T-shirts, caps, and key holders, will also be available. Guests spending at least 4,000 yen will receive one chance to take part in a lucky-draw promotion.

The event is scheduled from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. at Quokka, located at 1-17-7 Gyotoku Ekimae, Ichikawa, Chiba.

DD4D BREWING began as a select shop in Matsuyama in 1998 and started brewing craft beer in 2019. In 2021, it opened a second, larger facility in Mitsuhama, a port town in Matsuyama. The brewery has produced more than 300 beers and is also known for combining beer with fashion and collaborations across different industries. This Quokka event offers an opportunity to explore DD4D’s diverse beer portfolio with Mexican food in a casual taproom setting.
