Oratche, a farm-based destination in Tanna, Kannami, Shizuoka, has released an update on reservations for its annual “Happy Halloween Field-Baked Sweet Potato Party.”

As of October 11, the 10:00 session on October 31 was nearly full, while the 12:00 and 14:00 sessions still had spaces available. The event is also scheduled for November 1, with sessions at 10:00, 12:00, and 14:00 on both days. Each session is limited to 25 sets and may be cancelled in the event of rain.

The price is ¥2,800 per set. Each set includes two roasted sweet potatoes, 1.5 kg of sweet potato harvesting, a mini pack of Tanna milk, and a mini pack of Tanna coffee. Visitors can enjoy hands-on harvesting in the field before tasting freshly roasted sweet potatoes, making the event suitable for families and groups.

Oratche is surrounded by the natural scenery of the Tanna Basin. Its on-site brewery produces Kaze no Tani no Beer using organic ingredients and natural water from the Fuji-Hakone mountain range. The beer is neither heat-treated nor filtered, allowing the yeast to contribute a rich aroma and flavor.

Guests should wear clothing that can get dirty and bring work gloves. Because the event is limited and popular, prospective participants should check the latest availability and reserve early.
