Kaze no Tani no Beer’s Oratche to Hold 29th Kingdom Festival
Oratche Dairy Kingdom in Kannami, Shizuoka, home to Kaze no Tani no Beer, will hold its 29th Kingdom Festival from September 19 to 23, 2026. The five-day event features limited dairy treats, hands-on activities, and a giant corn maze.
The 29th Kingdom Festival will take place at Oratche Dairy Kingdom in the Tanna Basin of Kannami, Shizuoka, from September 19 through September 23, 2026.
Oratche is a dairy-focused destination surrounded by the mountains of Tanna. It also produces beer, cheese, and butter on site, making it the home of Kaze no Tani no Beer. Visitors can experience the area’s dairy culture, local food, and natural setting alongside the brewery’s regional identity.
Festival highlights include limited-edition chocolate soft serve and a cow-themed topping soft serve. The five-day program also features yogurt from a tap, Tanna Milk carton throwing and bowling, a hay photo spot, and a tractor display.
A special coffee-milk-flavored ice cream-making experience will be available during the festival. Visitors can also explore the giant cornfield maze. Those wearing clothing that includes any of three colors—white, black, or yellow—will receive a gift when taking part in the maze.
On September 19, the “Megane + Milk5” event is scheduled, with food trucks and other vendors. On the final day, September 23, a true-or-false quiz is planned for 3:00 p.m., along with the “Become a Cow! Moo-Moo Race.”
Admission and parking are free, while individual activities require separate fees. For craft beer fans, the festival offers a chance to discover the broader dairy and food culture behind Kaze no Tani no Beer in a relaxed rural setting.
