Tsukuba Brewery in Tsukuba City will hold a 6th anniversary event at its Doho Park Front Store for three days from June 5 to 7. Founded in June 2020 as "Tsukuba's first brewery," this is a milestone event being celebrated at the place where it all began.
During the event, two special brews made to mark the 6th anniversary will be tapped. In addition, new merchandise created for the anniversary will also be sold. The post also reaches out to people who have been curious but have never visited, or who have only ever been to Mt. Tsukuba, making the event feel geared not only toward regulars but also first-time visitors.
The venue, Doho Park Front Store, is one of Tsukuba Brewery's locations. According to the official website, the store is open from Wednesday to Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight, on Saturdays from noon to 11 p.m., and on Sundays from noon to 9 p.m. Another feature of the anniversary event is that no reservation is required, making it easy to stop by.
The head brewer is also scheduled to join at certain times. So this looks like a place where visitors can not only drink beer, but also hear directly about the brewing background and the brewery's six-year journey. Tsukuba Brewery is known as a locally rooted brewery that operates a brewery at the foot of Mount Tsukuba and a taproom in front of Doho Park. Over these three commemorative days, it seems set to offer a chance to savor that journey again through anniversary beer and new merchandise.
