A Rich Aroma with a Tropical Impression

Tsukuba Brewery in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, has introduced its new beer, “Shinrabansho.” The beer is a Double IPA with an alcohol content of 8.0%. According to the brewery, its aroma spreads with a richness reminiscent of a tropical breeze.

The beer is also characterized by the deep flavor and substantial body associated with Double IPA. Alongside its expressive aroma, it offers a firm, full-bodied drinking experience that develops with each sip.

A Name Inspired by the Whole Universe

“Shinrabansho” is a Japanese expression referring to all things and phenomena in the universe. Tsukuba Brewery says the name carries the idea of creating a beer that makes an ordinary day feel a little more special.

The brewery presents the beer as one to enjoy sip after sip, with layers of flavor opening up along the way. Although the style is robust, the concept is also connected to the brewery’s wish to add a light touch of pleasure to the drinker’s day.

Tsukuba Brewery produces craft beer in Tsukuba, using the natural water of the Mt. Tsukuba foothills and ingredients connected to Ibaraki whenever possible. Founded in 2020, the brewery moved and expanded its brewing facility at the foothills of Mt. Tsukuba in 2024. Its taproom allows visitors to enjoy beer brewed on site.

“Shinrabansho” brings the brewery’s regional identity together with the rich, powerful character of a Double IPA. Details such as release timing and serving locations should be confirmed through Tsukuba Brewery’s official announcements.
