Five 15brewery beers on tap

Evolve Beer&Kitchen, a beer pub in Mukojima, Sumida, Tokyo, is currently pouring five beers from 15brewery, also known as Fifteen Brewery. The selection covers a broad range of styles, including a Belgian-style beer, stout, raw ale, fruit beer, and IPA.

The Belgian-style Numa no Soko uses a generous amount of wheat malt, along with orange peel, coriander seed, chamomile, clove, lime from Owase in Mie, and honey from Hachigoya in Nagai, Yokosuka. It is described as lightly sweet and tart, with complex spicy aromas and flavors.

The Stout is a deeply flavored, pitch-black beer with substantial richness. Raw Red Ale is made using a raw ale process in which the wort is not boiled, highlighting the heavy, concentrated character and aroma of the malt.

Dotanba Ale (Summer Orange Ale) uses summer oranges from Hayama for a clean, refreshing finish. Its ingredients also include baguette from Miura bakery Mitsumugi. The same bakery ingredient appears in Raw Hazy IPA, which combines the raw ale process with citrus and pine-like hop aromas and restrained bitterness.

Evolve Beer&Kitchen offers a relaxed setting for exploring craft beer in Mukojima. The beers are presented for measured sales, making it possible to compare several styles in smaller pours. Availability and service hours may change, so checking the venue’s latest information before visiting is recommended.
