At the beer pub GRANDPA FISH & CHIPS in Kameido, Koto Ward, Tokyo, Uchoten Brewing's real ale "Jazz" was announced in a post dated May 15. The post said it was "the second one, and the last," conveying the atmosphere of the one drink currently available at the bar, including how far the keg had gone.

The shop is a small, counter-centered beer pub, and its signature dish is, as the name suggests, fish and chips. While beer is the main attraction, the appeal is that you can casually enjoy it with a meal. The tap board in the photo showed IRAGO from Atsumi Peninsula Brewing, osmanthus saison from Kyoto Brewing, ALL 18 kinds of apples from Green Neighbors Hard Cider, THIRD EYE IPA from Y.MARKET, and Schwarz from The Old Grey Brewery, offering a wide range of flavors.

What stands out this time is the real-ale slot, "Jazz." Served as an Irish dry stout, it's a black pour suited to a calm night of drinking. For those in Kameido who want to pair classic fish and chips with craft beer, it's a lineup worth watching.
