In an Instagram post by Hakodate Yunokawa Brewery (Hakodate, Hokkaido) at 16:48 on February 1, 2026, the brewery announced the start of a new project, 'Endeavour Temari Sushi,' created with craft-beer pairing in mind.

This project is a collaboration with the long-established Yukawa Kozushi, founded in 1964. The post describes it as a special menu that packs the flavors of the season into each temari sushi piece, and proposes enjoying it together with the brewery's craft beer.

The offerings are the following three sets (tax included).

- 5-piece set: 1,200 yen
- 10-piece set: 2,300 yen
- 15-piece set: 3,300 yen

Orders are by advance reservation only, and applications must be submitted through the inquiry form by 3:00 p.m. the day before. At the time of booking, customers must enter their name, phone number, preferred date and time, preferred set, and quantity. Reservations are not accepted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week, and same-day changes to the time, quantity, or cancellations are not allowed (100% cancellation fee).

On its official website, Hakodate Yunokawa Brewery describes itself as a restaurant attached to a brewery along the streetcar line in Yunokawa-cho, Hakodate City. Centered on craft beer made with 100% natural water from Otobe, Hokkaido, and dishes made from local ingredients, this sushi collaboration seems to make its approach of connecting local food and beer even clearer.

For beer fans, this creates a concrete chance to try the combination of delicate seafood umami and beer as a set. It is a new menu to watch, offering a distinctly Hakodate food experience alongside house-brewed beer.
