“CRAFT BEER Anton Bee Roppongi,” located on the basement first floor at 5-1-5 Roppongi, is a beer pub that boasts 20 draft taps. Instagram introduced the April 8 draft lineup, and on weekdays the bar is open from 17:00 to 24:00, with food L.O. at 23:00 and drinks L.O. at 23:30.

The highlights of the day were Minoh Beer’s “Mugicha Bitter,” Mother Road Brewing Company’s “Tower Station IPA” and “Limited Visibility,” Left Hand Brewing Company’s “Milk Stout,” Ace Cider’s “Joker Dry,” and Minamishinshu Beer (OGNA)’s “Apple Hop KOGYOKU.” Added to these were Dieu du Ciel!’s “Fenêtre sur les Tropiques,” “Blanche de Paradis,” and “Solstice d'Ete Cerises,” COEDO’s “KYARA,” and Black Tide Brewing’s “Tea Time,” creating a lineup that spanned bitters, IPAs, cider, fruit beer, Belgian witbier, cherry Berliner-style beer, and hard tea.

What makes this place interesting is that in the basement interior, you can choose the style you want to drink and try them one by one. Starting with Mugicha Bitter or Milk Stout for your first glass, then moving on to a hazy IPA or something fruit-forward for the second, makes each day’s character easier to see. Rather than flashy event announcements, this is the kind of place that steadily follows the day-to-day tap changes, which is why the breadth of the lineup itself becomes the attraction.
