Yokohama Bay Brewing Yokohama Front Branch to Run 24 Taps on March 24 for a Sashimi-Heavy Day
On March 24, Yokohama Bay Brewing Yokohama Front Branch will be open as a "day with especially substantial sashimi," centered on Ukkari Kasago and seared first bonito. The tap list on hand includes a broad range from Yokohama Bay Brewing staples to IPAs, plus one guest beer from Kyoto Brewing.
Yokohama Bay Brewing Yokohama Front Branch, located on the second floor of THE YOKOHAMA FRONT on the north-west exit side of Yokohama Station, released its operating information for March 24. The post title reads: "3/24 (Tue) Ukkari Kasago & Seared First Bonito Appears!"
That day, the sashimi menu is being expanded with Ukkari Kasago, seared first bonito, Medai, and Hirasuzuki. Also appearing is the "Otsumami Negi Chashu" made with house-made char siu, creating a setup that lets guests choose broadly on the beer side too, from light pilsners to hop-forward IPAs.
The taps are centered on Yokohama Bay Brewing labels. The lineup includes Bay Pilsner, Beer Terrace, Bay Amber, Go Czech!, Bay Dark, Bay Weiss, Yuzu Weiss, Weekend Journey, Apple Weiss, Flatland, Travelers, Uncle Rinne, Freedom, With Friends, Pedaling for IPA, GOOOOOAAAAAL IPA, and Mellow Walk IPA. In addition, Kyoto Brewing's "Maruko," and the Bay Pilsner of the same name, were also noted as being offered via ball tap.
As a beer pub close to the station, one of the shop's strengths is that you can enjoy the day's fresh-from-the-market feel in the food while also sampling the variety of beers from its own brewery. With delicate seafood flavors at the center, it is a lineup that pairs well with a day spent comparing lagers and IPAs.
