The Namacha'n Stand Shiinamachi Branch at Toshima-ku Nagasaki 1-18-11 announced in its latest post that sales have begun for a new canned beer. The release in question is NAMACHA'n Brewing's "Jiyugakuen Myonichikan Sakura Smoke Lager."

According to the post, this beer uses chips made from cherry trees over 70 years old at Toshima Ward's Important Cultural Property, "Jiyugakuen Myonichikan," to smoke the malt. It is designed so that after a light, easy-drinking first impression, a gentle cherry-derived smoky aroma spreads through the finish, promising a friendly balance for a smoke lager. The same product is also being promoted as a stamp-eligible item for the ongoing "Namaccha Spring Beer Festival."

In the same post, it was also announced that the sibling location, NAMACHA'n Stand Kita-Ikebukuro Branch, reached its 4th anniversary on March 18, 2026, and is currently holding an anniversary WEEK event through March 22. In addition to the anniversary beer "Coffee Porter," supervised by store manager "Gasu," limited food items and a speed lottery are also available, and bar-hopping visits are welcome.

The Shiinamachi branch's appeal lies in its easygoing neighborhood feel and the chance to enjoy unique brewery-born beers in everyday settings. By following the limited can beer themed around spring together with the anniversary projects at the sibling locations, this is a good moment to experience the current state of NAMACHA'n Stand in a more rounded way.
