In Ota Honmachi, Mino-Kamo City, Gifu Prefecture, Mino-Kamo Beer, operated by the general incorporated association 8KNOT, introduced its new "Amazake HAZE." According to the post, it has been one of the tap beers available in the shop since last week, and it is made by adding amazake to "Gold and Silver with sake yeast," a beer fermented with sake yeast.

This new release is notable not for pushing its sake-like character to the forefront, but for softening the impression by combining it with amazake, achieving both drinkability and fruitiness. When poured into a glass, the cloudy, bright-colored liquid lets you enjoy the amazake koji drifting through it and gradually settling over time. The grainy texture of the koji that remains at the end of the drink is another characteristic unique to this beer.

Mino-Kamo Beer is a brewery that continues to make beer using local ingredients, and as of the time of the post, it was offering 9 bottled beers and 3 tap beers. The bottled lineup is as follows.

- Honey Golden Ale
- Pear White Ale
- Pale Ale
- Gold and Silver (beer yeast)
- Gold and Silver (sake yeast)
- Coffee Stout
- Hazy peach
- Aoume gose
- Summer Orange Sour Ale (seasonal beer)

On tap, in addition to "Amazake HAZE," "Fire krush IPA" and "Summer orange sour ale" are also being served. Set in the streetscape of Ota-juku, the brewery offers a beer for people who want to try a drink that incorporates Japanese ingredients. Beer fans interested in the new release's character would do well to check the serving status before visiting.
