Cafe & CraftBeer Dining SOUL BIRD, a beer pub in Hamamatsucho, Minato City, Tokyo, updated its tap list on April 16. The star this time is Vertere x Inkhorn's Viburnum. It is a sour ale made with boysenberries and white chocolate, and is described as a beer in which the acidity from lactic acid bacteria, fruitiness, and the creaminess of white chocolate come together.
The taps include Dunkel (Touchdown), Yamaguchi no Mugi (Yamaguchi Jibeer), Nepparu (Be Easy Brewing), Take A Hike (Range x Mountain Culture), Yokohama XPA (SanktGallen), and Petite Morale (Dieu Du Ciel !). The styles are broad as well, ranging from dunkel and pilsner to hazy IPA, DDH IPA, and IPA, making it an easy lineup to choose from, whether you want a malt-forward, calm pint or one with a sharper hop profile.
Also announced as upcoming on tap are Coffee Stout, WC Pale Ale, and Belgian White. With the lineup changing quickly on these days, and with the "Dining" side of the name included as well, it feels like a place where food and beer are easy to enjoy together.
SOUL BIRD also says it can accommodate welcome and farewell parties with semi-private rooms, full private bookings, and exclusive full-venue rentals, projector equipment, standing reception formats, and all-you-can-drink plans. Around Hamamatsucho Station, it looks like a convenient spot both for a single drink after work and for gathering with a group.
