May 2 KEG Lineup


TBE Brewing (2F, Shinbori Guitar Building, 2-1-2 Ebisu Minami, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) has released its tap list for May 2. This lineup spans a wide range of origins, including Italy, Tohoku, Hokuriku, Kanto, Koshinetsu, and Kansai, and is arranged so you can compare crowd-pleasing staples and distinctive beers at a glance.

On tap now are `CRAK Brewery / PIZZAPILS FREE STYLE`, `Ise Kadoya Beer / Classic Pale Ale`, `Swan Lake / Amber Swan Ale`, `Mya Brew / Sakura Pao Pads`, `G Brand Beerlers / Rock'n'Roll IPA`, `Ishinomaki Hops Works / Strawberry Hazy IPA`, `Shiga Kogen Beer / Shiga Kogen IPA`, `Outsider / Lagoon Juicy IPA`, `Yorocco Beer / Yegzit`, and `Shiga Kogen Beer / Sono Ju No.10 IPA`, 10 beers in all.

In terms of style, the lineup includes pale ale, amber ale, IPA, and hazy IPA, plus even a lager-style beer suited to pizza, making it easy to take your time and compare. Beers that emphasize hop aroma sit alongside beers that let you enjoy malt sweetness and body, making it easy to build a flow from the first glass to the finish.

Here too, alongside domestic breweries, the names include collaborations and limited releases, hinting at a lively tap lineup.

The post also highlights food that pairs well with beer, including sashimi of wild Indian tuna, grape-fed beef shoulder loin steak, oven-baked marinated pork spare ribs, grilled bone-in Daisen chicken thigh, barley-fed pork fillet tonkatsu, and beef tendon simmered with sansho pepper.
