Bishu Brewing is a craft beer brewery based in Bishu Village in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture. In its Instagram post, it greeted followers with "Hello! This is Bishu Brewing," signaling its intention to make its presence better known.

The brewery is produced by the long-established liquor store Hayashiya. In the Bishu region, known as a textile production area, it aims to create new liveliness in the community. It uses groundwater from the Kiso River basin as brewing water and offers its flagship "Wool to Ale" series.

The lineup includes "Hoppy Kölsch," characterized by a citrus aroma and a crisp finish; "Red IPA," known for its stronger bitterness and rich malt character; and "Hazy Pale Ale," which won a silver award at the International Beer Cup 2024. Each is designed to be enjoyed by a wide range of people, from beer beginners to seasoned fans.

The interior is a standing-drink style space, and one of its charms is being able to enjoy a freshly poured beer while watching the brewing equipment up close. Its location just a short walk from Owari-Ichinomiya Station and Meitetsu Ichinomiya Station also makes it an easy brewery pub to stop by for a daytime drink or after shopping.

This Instagram post served as a starting point for sharing the background of the brand once again. As a brewery rooted in the local community, what kind of beer Bishu Brewing will deliver, and from what kind of place, is something to keep an eye on in future updates.
