At Japan Craft Beer&Wine GRILLMAN in Nagoya's Nishiki district, guest beers newly tapped were announced alongside notice of the May 15, 3:00 p.m. opening.

The highlight of the day was first @bishu.brewing's "Wool and Ale hazy pale ale". It was introduced as a standard hazy pale ale that won silver at the International Beer Cup 2024, and it is a beer expected to deliver a juicy drinking experience.

Next was @okdkominkabrewing's "PLUM UME SAISON". This beer won bronze at the JAPAN GREAT BEER AWARDS 2021 and is a saison made with plums from the Chita Peninsula. With a gentle tartness, it is finished in a way that suits the warmer season ahead.

Also on tap was Daisen G Beer's Scottish ale. The post described it as a "self-service Daisen clan gathering," conveying the fun of comparing beers with a similar flavor profile side by side.

On the food side, a new menu item, "Today’s fresh fish and seafood sauté," also debuted. It features seafood sourced that day and sautéed fresh, making it a natural pairing with beer. GRILLMAN is the kind of beer pub where you can enjoy hamburgers at lunch and grilled dishes with craft beer at night, making it a place where you want to keep the glasses moving along with the meal.

From this post, it is clear that this was not just a simple announcement of new casks, but a lineup that paired the new seafood dish with three beers of distinct character: a hazy, a saison, and a Scottish ale. Craft beer fans will likely want to taste them in order while checking how each one matches the food.
