Tap List for April 7
On this day, Craft Beer 2mugi will be open from 17:00 to 23:00, and announced a lineup of six draft beers. As you would expect from a beer pub near Akihabara Station, the selection brings together distinctive domestic and international brews, and even reading the names makes you want to start imagining a tasting flight.
Main Beers for the Day
- Vector Brewing / BAKA-UMAI HAZY IPA / Hazy IPA
- BREWCCOLY / CROSS / Munich saison
- Katashina Brewing / Thistle's Breath / Scotch Ale
- Noroshi Brewing / India Black Lager / Mixed Style
- Mikkeller Tokyo / Forest Friends / West Coast IPA
- Barbaric Works x te_breetschoot / Spider Thread / Foeder-aged Saison
Among the beers listed for the day, Vector Brewing's Hazy IPA is marked as LAST CALL. BREWCCOLY's Munich saison is a new addition, and Mikkeller Tokyo's West Coast IPA has also just joined the lineup. Katashina Brewing's Scotch Ale and Noroshi Brewing's India Black Lager are both the kind of beers you want to savor for their malt depth and roasty character.
In addition to carefully selected authentic German beers chosen by the owner, who is a Doemens-certified beer sommelier, Craft Beer 2mugi also offers draft beers from Japan and overseas, along with sake and whisky. Small dishes are available too, making it an easy place to stop in from the first round and enjoy food alongside your drinks. The warm, relaxed atmosphere inside is part of its charm.
It was also announced that on Sunday, April 19, the regular customer's beloved cat, "Shippo-chan," will be visiting. Rather than a special event, the idea is more like a calm Sunday night with a cat in the usual bar atmosphere, and guests with cat allergies are advised to visit on another day.
If you're drinking craft beer in Akihabara, this is a spot worth noting for letting you enjoy both the personality of the taps and the comfort of the bar at the same time.
