Tap lineup

Beer Pub Yumeyomi, on the second floor of a building along Shijo-dori in Kyoto's Gion area, posted its Aug. 26, Wednesday service hours as 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The headline pour for the day is U.B.P's red ale, 'Legendry Daddy'. The pub described it as a long-awaited return, and also noted it as a celebratory beer for Tackle Box, the company that handled the beer-server installation work. It is a beer meant to be enjoyed slowly, in a glass, with its deep red ale character.

Also staying on tap is MUKAI CRAFT BREWING's 'Dark Forest', which the shop described as carrying roast notes and a dank hop presence. It sounds like the kind of beer that rewards a measured pace, especially in late summer.

With food

The food side also gets a boost: the salsiccia that had been out of stock is back. The pub describes it as a house standard with cacao nibs and almonds. That makes the stop at Yumeyomi feel like a proper beer-and-food pairing session rather than a simple pint stop.

Yumeyomi is a Gion beer pub with a calm, focused drinking atmosphere. The post also mentioned a slightly earlier opening time for the coming month's schedule, signaling that the bar is aiming to serve guests a little longer and a little more comfortably.
