A Hashimoto Brewery Heads to Toyonaka

Kamnonno Brewing, based in Hashimoto, Wakayama, has announced that it will take part in Toyonaka BEER BEAT 2026. The craft beer festival will be held on Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, at Harada Shrine in Toyonaka, Osaka.

The venue is located near Okamachi Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line. Festival hours are scheduled for 11:00–17:00 on the first day and 10:00–16:00 on the second. Alongside Kamnonno Brewing, breweries from Osaka, Hyogo, Shiga, Ehime, Kyoto, Tokyo, Ishikawa, Gifu, and other regions are set to participate, giving visitors the opportunity to compare beers from across Japan.

Connecting People Through Beer

Toyonaka BEER BEAT was created with the goal of establishing a full-scale beer festival as part of Toyonaka’s local culture. The city has a historical connection to beer through Shozaburo Shibuya, a Toyonaka native regarded as the first person to manufacture beer in Japan. Launched in 2025, the festival aims to welcome everyone from craft beer newcomers and dedicated enthusiasts to families.

The 2026 edition is expanding its brewery lineup beyond the Kansai region. Visitors can expect a festival atmosphere built around beer, food, and music, with opportunities to discover new breweries and speak with brewers or serving specialists about the beers on offer.

For Kamnonno Brewing, the event will be a chance to introduce beer from Hashimoto to drinkers outside Wakayama. Specific beers and serving details have not yet been announced, so attendees should check the organizers’ latest updates. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation or walk to the venue.
