Ray Day Beer in Uruma, Okinawa Prefecture, has announced a collaboration project with Caprice and Utoto Farm. Starting at 12:00 on Saturday, May 16, a release party will be held at Caprice (inside Gala Aoi Umi), where guests can enjoy the opening of the collaboration beer, a tap takeover by Ray Day Beer, and Caprice's food.

The collaboration beer this time is Island Harvest Farmhouse Ale / 5.0%. Based on Ray Day Beer's flagship "Ishikawa Ale," it is a farmhouse ale that undergoes secondary fermentation with wild yeast collected and cultivated from Utoto Farm's hives. The beer is designed to layer the freshness of hops with the gentle acidity and esters derived from the wild yeast, aiming for a dry, crisp finish.

Ray Day Beer is a brewery based in Ishikawa, Uruma City, Okinawa. As a community-rooted brewery long embraced near the sea, it continues to produce a wide range of styles, from hop-aromatic IPAs to sour ales, lagers, and porters. This release is a little different from its everyday lineup, putting wild yeast and the character of the farm front and center, and it is said to pair well with herb-forward dishes and oily foods.

With the start of the rainy season approaching, it looks like it will be a day to enjoy beer and food, along with the background of how they were made. The clearly identified collaboration partner also makes this a distinctly Ray Day Beer project rooted in place.
