LayDay Beer shared its new West Coast IPA on Instagram. The beer clocks in at 7.0% ABV and 70 IBU, and uses Centennial, Citra, Magnum, and Chinook hops. The brewery says it aimed for a clear appearance, a crisp finish, and the firm bitterness typical of a classic West Coast IPA.

It is also the strongest beer in the LayDay lineup. The post notes that recent batches have been selling out quickly, so this release is being positioned as something best enjoyed fresh.

LayDay Beer was launched in 2024 in Ishikawa, Uruma City, Okinawa, in a renovated traditional house. The brewery focuses on small-batch production, alongside a beer stand where visitors can drink on site or take beer to go. The new IPA fits that small, local, but style-driven approach.
