Draft Update
The beer pub Mugishu Yumeutemi in Gion, Kyoto switched today’s draft beer to Sapporo Beer’s SORACHI1984 for its Monday, June 1, 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. service. The post added “a fixed-point observation kind of ◎,” suggesting that it is treated as one of the venue’s core pours.
That Day’s Lineup
On this day, the only draft change was to SORACHI1984; the other taps remained as they were. Various Dupont bottles also arrived, and Saison Dupont Cuvée Dry Hopping is available on draft as well, making it possible to enjoy the differences in aroma side by side. It is a lineup that lets you compare SORACHI1984’s crisp hop character with the distinctive expression of Belgian-style saisons at the same time.
Food and Atmosphere
The food menu included grilled shiitake from Irie Farm, frites, salsiccia, and pickles, along with the return of rusks and a homemade Genovese sauce made with Mori Mori-san’s basil. The shop clearly states “no large groups, solo drinkers welcome,” making it a good fit for people who want to quietly face their beer in a corner of Gion. Reservations are not accepted, so the style is to drop in casually and enjoy a drink.
