KARAKURI -Craft Beer & Oden & Sake-, a basement beer pub in Kanda, Tokyo, has announced two guest beers for the day.

On tap

- Mugamuchu / Shiga Kogen Beer (Nagano)
- Chain Smoker / Hino Brewing × Hitomi Winery (Shiga)

According to the post, Mugamuchu is a Hazy IIPA with grapefruit- and hassaku-like citrus, plus peach and pineapple-like tropical notes. It is described as lighter than expected, juicy, and dry in the finish.

Chain Smoker is a modern take on Grodziskie, a traditional Polish beer style. The beer combines oak smoke character and a crisp finish with Chardonnay pomace from Hitomi Winery and Nelson Sauvin hops, adding white grape and citrus aromas to the smoky profile.

KARAKURI focuses on craft beer, sake, and natural wine, and serves creative dishes centered around oden. It also has an attached bottle shop, so guests can take home bottles or cans, and even fill growlers for takeaway.

The post lists service hours for Friday, August 21, 17:00-23:00, with food last order at 22:00 and drink last order at 22:30. It is a straightforward lineup for anyone who wants to compare two very different beers in one stop.
