Bread Ale Brewery has announced the release of its new product, "Porter". The announcement appeared in an Instagram post from the Komuginohoshi Sengawa shop, which describes the flavor as combining roasted aroma with cacao nuances while keeping the beer from feeling too heavy. It is a beer that should also appeal to drinkers who are interested in dark styles but want to avoid something overly rich.

Sales Format and Availability

According to the post, Porter will be sold as draft beer and canned beer. The post also outlines the in-store serving setup: draft beer will be available from three rotating daily selections, while cans will be offered in six varieties, with the note that items may sell out. Please note that Komuginohoshi Yaharano shop does not carry draft beer.

Draft service will be available at the Shimoigusa, Hanegi, Sengawa, and Kyodo locations, while cans will be sold at all Komuginohoshi locations. It is best to check stock before visiting.

Bread Ale Brewery Background

Bread Ale Brewery is a brewery based in Sengawa-cho, Chofu City, Tokyo, and its profile describes it as a place that brews craft beer with bread. Centered on reusing bread that would otherwise be discarded, it emphasizes SDGs × Craft × Local. Making use of its attached bakery, the brewery connects bread culture and craft beer on the same everyday footing, making it something of an evolved form of urban brewery.

This Porter looks set to add a new entry point to Bread Ale Brewery's lineup, offering an easy way to experience that context for oneself.
