“Craft Beer & Spice Food Neko no Shukaijo” in Umegaoka, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, is a beer pub where craft beer and spice food can be enjoyed together. In its April 16 post, the shop introduced six draft beers to open on a pleasantly sunny day.
That day’s tap list offers a wide range of styles. From an easy-drinking German Pilsner to a NE IPA with clearly defined aroma and bitterness, and even a West Coast IPA, it is easy to choose according to your mood.
Today’s Tap List
- ① 麦のまにまに (German Pilsner) / Isekado
- ② SOUR (Hard Cider) / Green Neighbours
- ③ Pirono Saison (Saison) / Pirono Beer
- ④ オンメンブロイ (Rauchbock) / BAEREN
- ⑤ Blazing Rabbit (NE IPA) / NOMCRAFT
- ⑥ Starwatcher (West Coast IPA) / WCB
The post says draft beer is available in three sizes, and can also be taken out in cups. Since canned and bottled beers can also be enjoyed and purchased in the shop, there is something enjoyable not only about the taps but also about browsing the refrigerated case. IPA and lager recommendations are also on display, and it seems label design is a welcome reason to choose as well.
On the food side, the photo features “Mochiko Chicken with Cilantro & Spice Flakes.” It is introduced as a dish that pairs well with craft beer, conveying the shop’s identity centered on spice food. In addition, a third-anniversary event is scheduled for April 18 and 19, with phantom ramen shop “Kiriwo Men” as the food guest on the 18th and spice curry “masala jeico” on the 19th. For anyone who wants to enjoy beer and food together, this is worth checking out.
