Beer&Cafe Hafen Taps Nanto Shuzojo Kölsch, Shonan Gold Also Arrives
Beer&Cafe Hafen in Esaka, Osaka has revealed its latest tap list. Alongside Nanto Shuzojo's Kölsch, Sanktgallen's Shonan Gold, and Minoh Beer's Peach Weizen Shimizu Hakuto ver, the regulars Black Label and Draught Guinness are also on offer.
The beer pub Beer&Cafe Hafen in Esakacho, Suita City, Osaka, has announced its latest draft lineup.
This time, the star is Nanto Shuzojo's Kölsch. In the post, after visiting Okinawa World and Nanto Shuzojo, the pub is bringing back this Kölsch, brewed with water drawn from 100 meters underground, as an "encore" version after having tapped it in May as well. Its clean, refreshing character and easy-drinking flavor are emphasized, making it the kind of beer you can keep reaching for as the weather gets hotter.
Also on tap are Sanktgallen's Shonan Gold and Minoh Beer's Peach Weizen Shimizu Hakuto ver. With Shonan Gold offering a striking citrus aroma and the peach Weizen bringing a fruity profile, the lineup covers everything from a light, easy-drinking pint to a beer you can enjoy for its aroma.
The regular beers are Sapporo's Black Label and Draught Guinness. Staying grounded in dependable classics while adding character through guest taps is very Hafen. In addition to its location near Esaka Park, the shop has a casual interior and an atmosphere that makes it easy to drop in alone, which is one of its strengths. The ability to enjoy draft beer in small portions is also welcome for beer fans who want to compare different labels.
If you're pairing with food, the Kölsch, which shows its character clearly, would go well with lighter snacks, while Shonan Gold and the Peach Weizen would pair nicely with appetizers that can match their fruitiness. On a day when you want craft beer in Esaka, this is a place worth putting at the top of the list.
