On Thursday, April 9, the HEAVY SASORI BREWING taproom will be open from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. In an Instagram post, it announced the food-and-beer festival “NAHA LOCAL BREWING GARDEN!” featuring seven breweries from Naha. It also mentioned that it opens at 5:00 p.m., and that on clear days you can enjoy walking along Kokusai Street with a beer in hand. Drinks are served in plastic cups only.

What makes this place appealing is that you can enjoy house-brewed beer and guest beer at the same counter. The menu includes `MARKEE?She is Home. T` (West Coast IPA), with bright citrus and tropical aromas; `Daywalk Porter T` (Session Porter), with a pleasant roasted character; `Oh One Minute T` (Spiced Ale), made with shikuwasa peel and pink peppercorn; and `Slow Daze T` (DDH IPA), with aromas of white grape and tropical fruit.
