Eni-Brew, a beer pub in Nakamozu, Sakai, is holding its annual Okinawan summer event, Haisai Chanpuru Beer Night, from August 11 to 16. The shop is about a two-minute walk from Nakamozu Station, and the fair runs during normal business hours, so it is easy to drop in.
The featured draft lineup includes Orion The Draft, FILL BREWING's BBOY イズム, MAHOWBREW's Gere, and Wolfbrau's Keller. Keller is presented as a keller-style beer from Shuri in Naha, with unfiltered depth and a light smoky malt note.
The bottle shop section also brings in six MAHOWBREW cans: Soldtice Echoes on, V.I.T.R.O.L VII, Ryukyu Pride, Draupnir, Edge of Night, and Depths of Muspelhein. That gives visitors a chance to compare Okinawan beers across draft and can formats.
Food follows the same theme, with mozuku tempura, mimiga and yam jelly salad, and skillet-seared soki on the menu. The shop also listed rafute, bitter melon with fried mimiga, fu champuru, and a finishing bowl of aosa soba on another lineup page. Reservations are available.
