Chigasaki’s PEPOWN to host a BBQ event with Meat to Mugi and Passific Brewing taps on Aug. 16
PEPOWN, a brewery in Chigasaki, Kanagawa, will host its second summer BBQ event on August 16. The lineup features Meat to Mugi from Hatagaya, a Passific Brewing-heavy draft selection, and an all-you-can-drink option.
PEPOWN, located at 1-6-9 Tomoe, Chigasaki, Kanagawa, will host the second edition of its summer BBQ event, Shakunetsu Japanese-Style Yakiniku BBQ ~ Pepown Beer Garden ~, on August 16. The event brings in the Meat to Mugi team from Hatagaya for charcoal-grilled BBQ served at PEPOWN’s frontage.
The food menu includes short-rib beef, Hokkaido Akaushi lean beef, wagyu liver, U.S. tongue, plus homemade kimchi, homemade namul, sausage, salt rice balls, and spice curry. It is built as a long-stay, beer-friendly setup with both meat dishes and small plates.
Beer will be tapped as each keg kicks. Sapporo Black Label will be served on Lukr tap, and Passific Brewing will supply Schimmer (Sommer Helles), Passific Lager, All Of The Day (Japanese Malt Lager), Snooze (Summer Lager), Tutu (Kölsch), Hydro Pump (Session IPA), and Passific IPA. RTD sours are also planned for drinkers who want a change of pace, giving the lineup a range from lager to IPA.
The all-you-can-drink option is priced at 1,500 yen per hour with automatic extensions and glass exchange. It is a straightforward summer beer event built around food, draft beer, and a local Chigasaki brewery setting.
