The Second "IWAI MARCHÉ" to Be Held in Katsunuma on May 24

The second market, "IWAI MARCHÉ," will be held on Sunday, May 24 at IWAI TERRACE in Katsunuma-cho, Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. An Instagram post says that the venue, overlooking the Kofu Basin, will bring together popular bread, craft beer, flat-priced house wine, accessories, and more.

IWAI TERRACE, the venue for the event, is known as a cafe with views of the Southern Alps and the Kofu Basin, among the facilities operated by HUGE. The grounds also include IWAI BREWERY, which, according to official HUGE information, promotes "craft beer designed to bring out the best in food, carefully thought out for our own restaurants." The beer brewed by brewmaster Takuya Yanai is characterized by a design built around pairing with meals.

This market will feature vendors such as SHIBUICHI BAKERY, BEADSLAB, SOW COFFEE ROASTERS, HAMMER HEAD ROASTERY, BREW Fuefuki, LA GALERIE WINE SHOP, and NUMBER EIGHT DISTILLERY. The post says that the cafe and the reservation-only barbecue terrace will remain open as usual during the market, making this a place where guests can not only shop, but also spend time combining food and drinks.

Katsunuma is known as an area with a concentration of wineries, but at IWAI TERRACE, visitors can enjoy not only wine, but also craft beer, coffee, and gelato all in one place. It seems like a good opportunity to visit as a destination that lets you tour both the brewery and the cafe.
