15brewery, a takeaway-only brewery in Horinouchi, Hayama, will connect five beers to its taps on September 30 and sell them by volume from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Standing service is currently suspended, and bottled beer is unavailable, so customers should plan for takeaway sales.

The Belgian-style Numa no Soko uses a generous proportion of wheat malt, along with orange peel, coriander seed, chamomile, clove, lime from Owase in Mie Prefecture, and honey from Hachigoya in Nagai, Yokosuka. The brewery describes a lightly sweet and tart profile with complex, spicy aromas and flavors. It is priced at ¥2.5 per gram or milliliter.

The lineup also includes Stout, a deeply colored beer with rich body and flavor, priced at ¥2.2 per gram or milliliter.

Raw Red Ale is made with a Raw Ale process in which the wort is not boiled. The result emphasizes the weighty, intense flavor and aroma of the malt, at ¥2.5 per gram or milliliter.

Dondaba Ale, also called Summer Orange Ale, is brewed with summer oranges from Hayama and offers a refreshing, easy-drinking profile. A portion of its ingredients includes baguette from Miura bakery Mitsumugi. It is priced at ¥2.5 per gram or milliliter.

Raw Hazy IPA is also made using the Raw Ale process. Hop character brings citrus and pine-like aromas, balanced by a slight bitterness. Mitsumugi baguette is again used in part of the ingredients, and the beer is priced at ¥2.5 per gram or milliliter.

Customers are asked to bring a sealable container. Carbonated-drink PET bottles and screw-cap glass bottles are accepted, and the brewery will fill them to capacity. With local citrus, honey, lime, and a collaboration with a nearby bakery, this selection offers a distinctly Hayama-focused way to enjoy 15brewery beers at home.
