Craft Beer Spot Hathor in Osaka’s Kyobashi is a beer pub with 16 taps, and its appeal lies in pairing beer with its homemade smoked dishes. For the May 25 “Today’s Taps” lineup, a broad range of draft beers lined up, from classics to more distinctive offerings.

The highlights this time are Asahi Beer’s Super Dry and Oni Densetsu Beer’s “Yuya Boys IPL - Jamboree SP Ver.” The latter is a collaboration for KOBE BEER JAMBOREE 2026, and it is a hoppy, lager-leaning beer made with Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. Citrus and tropical aromas are layered with firm bitterness.

Other standouts include Rise & Win’s Morning Sauna, designed with post-sauna drinking in mind; Ise Kadoya Beer’s Mister Dunk, redesigned with balance as the priority; Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale, known as the original American pale ale; Deschutes’ Mirror Pond Pale Ale, which clearly showcases the appeal of Cascade hops; and North Coast’s Old Rasputin, with its heavy, rich mouthfeel. The range of styles is another point of interest.

The LAGER section includes Minoh Beer’s Papa Zaru Lager, the ALE section features Ooyama G Beer’s Yasago and Nara Brewing’s Echoes, and the IPA section includes Y.Market Brewing’s Lupulin Nectar and Beer no Ousho. From crisp lagers to rich dark beers, it is a lineup that makes you want to compare them one by one while enjoying a meal.
