Beer Cafe Gambrinus / BEER CAFE GAMBRINUS in Kokubunji, Tokyo is open as usual on March 30 as well. It is open from 17:00 to 25:00, with food last order at 23:00 and drinks last order at 24:00, making it easy to stop by after work.
The highlight of the day is the tap of directly imported Czech beer. The first release is Bernard / Dark 12°, presented as a dark lager that has a roasty aroma yet goes down cleanly. Since only one keg is available, it looks like you will want to get there early if you're aiming for it.
The taps include Nomcraft / Mighty Dragon, Yokohama Bay Brewing / Flatland, Bernard / Dark 12°, Hino Brewing / Heisei Banana, Shiga Kogen Beer / Snow Monkey IPA, Noboru Brewing / Musubu, Johana Beer / Golden Spark, Outsider / Cherry Boy, Baird Beer / Brewer's Nightmare Rye IPA, Craft Beer Base / English IPA, Craft Bank / Coffee Stout, Black Tide / Kearashi Ver.2.0, and Pilsner Urquell. With everything from hazy IPA to dark lager, West Coast IPA, and coffee stout, the lineup offers a broad range for side-by-side tasting.
In addition, under "Coming Soon!", Gambrinus / 12° [Pilsner] is scheduled for delivery on April 7, and Outsider / Sasquatch [American IPA] is also on deck. On the sixth floor near Kokubunji Station, it sounds like a place where you can relax and enjoy craft beer and food, and once again this tap list lets you take in the character of breweries from across Japan and the Czech Republic all at once.
