Yotei Brewing to Release Two Limited IPA Variants on August 10
Yotei Brewing, based in Niseko, Hokkaido, will launch two limited-batch beers on Monday, August 10. The lineup pairs a crisp IPA, RVRRN, with a juicy Hazy IPA, FLDDY, alongside on-tap service at Sapporo’s summer beer garden and select bars in Hokkaido.
Yotei Brewing will release two new beers on Monday, August 10: `RVRRN (River Run)`, a clean, easy-drinking IPA, and `FLDDY (Field Day)`, a rich and juicy Hazy IPA. Both will be available in limited quantities as 350 ml cans and on tap.
The brewery is a family-run operation in Niseko, where its founders relocated from Tokyo after falling in love with the area. On its official site, Yotei Brewing describes itself as a hop-forward brewery making pale ales, IPAs, and hazy IPAs, while building close ties with local bars and restaurants rather than operating its own taproom.
`RVRRN` uses Hollingbery & Son’s Triumph hops and is described as offering orange-candy-like aromas, a crisp palate, and a dry finish. It comes in at 6.0% ABV. `FLDDY` uses McKenzie and BRU-1, bringing notes of white peach, ripe pineapple, and grapefruit, with a juicy mouthfeel and a similarly 6.0% ABV. The two beers are clearly contrasting in character, making them a natural pair for comparison tasting.
To mark the launch, Yotei Brewing will also appear at the Fukushi Kyosan Sapporo Odori Beer Garden’s World Beer Square at Odori West 10 on August 10-12 and 17-18. During the event, the brewery will pour the new releases alongside favorites such as West Coast Lager and EXPDTN. From the same day, the beers will also be served at Craft Pub Brian Brew in Sapporo, Hininitsuka in Sapporo, and HEISON Craft Beer & Parfait in Asahikawa. The cans are priced at 768 yen including tax and will also be sold through FULLMARKS Sapporo, Niseko Michi-no-Eki View Plaza, and the brewery’s online shop.
