At the beer pub BEER COLONY in Ushijimahonmachi, Toyama City, the tap list has been updated. This time, the lineup centers on six beers ranging from collaborations to staple styles. From fruit-forward beers and hop-driven IPAs to stout, it is an easy-to-pick selection depending on your mood.

Current taps

- `Mountain Beach` / CRAFTROCK × Riip - West Coast Pilsner
- `Yuzu Weiss` / Yokohama Bay Brewing - Fruit Weizen
- `Frustum` / VERTERE × Ise Kado - Hazy IPA
- `Pale Ale` / T.Y HARBOR
- `Hamaru IPA` / Faction - West Coast IPA
- `OLD RASPUTIN` / North Coast - Russian Imperial Stout

Among them, the standout is Yokohama Bay Brewing's `Yuzu Weiss`. This Weizen uses yuzu from Kanagawa Prefecture, and its design layers a soft mouthfeel with hop-derived citrus aroma, yeast-derived banana notes, and the refreshing brightness of yuzu. It also comes with a record of winning gold in the Fruit Wheat category at WBC2024 and silver in the same category at WBC2025, and is introduced as an easy recommendation even for people who are not fond of bitterness.

Also listed as future candidates are `Natsumikan Saison` (Yorocco), `Kinikki Pale Ale CGX Nelson Single` (Onidensetsu), and `Codebreaker` (Trademark). The shop is also announcing its anniversary week from April 4 to 6 and a beer share event on April 17, so the lineup may change depending on when you visit.

BEER COLONY continues sharing information like canned beer arrivals and announcements for private parties and farewell gatherings, serving as a local beer hub. This update is for people who want to look at the current taps and find a beer they can drink right now.
