Beer Pub Nekotoazarashi (Mitaka, Tokyo) released its tap list in line with its Friday, May 29, 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. service. The small, counter-centered beer pub is just a three-minute walk from the south exit of Mitaka Station, and the shop’s own information emphasizes pairings with “dishes that go with that day’s beer.”

The lineup for the day totals 11 beers. The new tap is GROUNDTAP BREWERY’s `GROUNDTAP STOUT`. Other beers on offer include Romantchic Village’s `Tochigi Berry Berry Sour`, T.Y.HARBOR’s `Pale Ale` and `WheatAle`, LOCOBEER’s `Super Saison 2024`, Yokohama Bay Brewing’s `Bay Pilsner`, Shiga Kogen Beer’s `from scratch BlondeAle` and `DOGFISH HEAD x OXBOW x SHIGA KOGEN / Kind of Gold ImperialIPA w/ rice & honey`, GROUNDTAP BREWERY’s `Asanagi Lemon Wit`, Ushitora Brewery’s `Sachi Hop SessionIPA`, and Hideji Beer’s `Kyushu Craft Kinkan`.

The flavor range is quite broad. You can start lightly with a sour ale, tune your palate with a pilsner or pale ale, and finish with a stout or imperial IPA. In addition to standard snacks like fries, potato salad, and chili beans, the bar also serves more substantial plates such as meat dishes, fish dishes, and penne, making it easy to enjoy a tasting session alongside a meal.

The seating consists of 9 counter seats, four two-person tables, and one standing table. With the intimate feel that only a small shop can offer, it is the kind of place suited to a relaxed night of following each keg as it changes.
