Hansharo Beer Brewing, based in Izu-no-kuni, Shizuoka, has announced a limited beer called "Kyou mo Manten," made in collaboration with Beer Girl, a web magazine and community focused on beer. The concept is simple and approachable: a reward beer that helps close out the day on a good note. The project was developed together with beer fans, making it a collaboration that reflects both the brewery and its audience.

Flavor direction

Passion fruit takes center stage. The beer uses the new hop variety "Pink" alongside the DIPHOP method, which brings out aromas reminiscent of berries and tropical fruits. The style is HAZY IPA, with a soft mouthfeel and a bright, tangy fruit character. According to the brewery, the result is a juicy beer with fresh tropical aromatics and a gentle sweetness that lingers in the finish.

About the brewery

Hansharo Beer Brewing has built a reputation for producing distinctive limited releases while staying rooted in its home base in Shizuoka. That balance of local identity and collaborative flexibility is evident in this beer as well. "Kyou mo Manten" is positioned as a limited HAZY IPA for days when you want something to reset the mood after work or after a tiring day.

The beer is slated for a June release. For drinkers, the appeal lies not only in the flavor profile, but also in the sense that this beer was shaped through a close partnership between a brewery and a beer media community. It is a seasonal limited release with a clear message: a small, thoughtful beer for the end of the day.
