Yuluumu Brewing unveils five-beer lineup for Sanomaru Beer Groove 2026
Mito-based Yuluumu Brewing has introduced the beers it will pour at Sanomaru Beer Groove 2026, held from June 26 to 28 at the Ibaraki Prefectural Sanomaru Office Plaza. The lineup spans five styles, including White Ale and Ume Gose.
Yuluumu Brewing is a microbrewery inside SPA & Gohan Yuluumu in Kobuki-cho, Mito. Since starting brewing in March 2024, the brewery has focused on making what it describes as beer that relaxes both body and mind, linking its beers to the sauna-and-wellness concept of the facility.
In its Instagram post, the brewery announced the lineup for Sanomaru Beer Groove 2026, which will be held from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28 at the Ibaraki Prefectural Sanomaru Office Plaza in Mito. The post also notes that beer flights and beer cocktails will be available, making it easier for visitors to choose based on taste and mood.
Beers on offer
- White Ale: 5.0% ABV. Herbal aromatics and a refreshing finish.
- Session IPA: 5.0% ABV. Built around balance between sweetness and bitterness.
- Hazy IPA: 6.0% ABV. Tropical aroma with a fuller, more substantial body.
- American Pilsner: 6.0% ABV. Citrus notes and an easy-drinking profile.
- Ume Gose: 5.0% ABV. A distinctive beer with plum aroma, acidity, and a touch of salt.
Yuluumu Brewing’s beers are also served and sold at the facility’s restaurant and front counter, so the brewery already has a direct connection to everyday drinking in Mito. At the festival, the range of styles should give visitors a clear picture of the brewery’s approach, from crisp and approachable to more layered and characterful.
