Yuluumu Brewing, a craft brewery located in Mito City’s Kobuki district, announced on its official Instagram account that it will take part in the 66th Mito Komon Festival. The post says the brewery will appear for two days, Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, under the banner "Yuluumu Brewing × Western Ranch."
The main festival of the Mito Komon Festival is scheduled for August 1 and 2, 2026, along National Route 50 between Mito Station North Exit and the Daitōchi intersection. As one of Mito’s signature summer events, it is known for street parades, portable shrines, floats, and the lively atmosphere that fills the city.
Yuluumu Brewing is a microbrewery inside the spa facility SPA & Gohan Yuluumu. The brewery’s official site says its concept is to apply botanicals to beauty and wellness, and that it began brewing in March 2024. Its beers are served in the facility’s restaurant and also sold in bottles at the front desk, giving it a presence both in everyday dining and in event-based sales.
This festival appearance adds another local beer option to Mito’s summer celebrations. The Instagram post does not list the specific beers that will be served, but it points to a chance to enjoy locally brewed craft beer in a festival setting.
