Awashima Soko adds karuizawaQ and Brasserie Knot to its June 2 tap list
The Setagaya beer pub posted its June 2 tap update with five beers on offer. New taps include karuizawaQ’s Irish Red “道すがら” and Brasserie Knot’s Hazy IPA “JIRI,” alongside beers from Nara Brewing, YOROCCO, and Passific.
Awashima Soko, a beer pub in Daizawa, Setagaya City, updated its tap list on June 2. The bar opened at 18:00, with last orders at 23:00 for food and 23:30 for drinks. It also announced an early closing at 23:00 and a day off on June 3.
The lineup featured five beers in total. Existing taps included Nara Brewing’s KIP (Hoppy Pilsner), YOROCCO’s Swallow's Humming (Golden Ale), and Passific’s Passific IPA (IPA), with two new additions joining the board.
The newly tapped beers were karuizawaQ’s 道すがら (Irish Red) and Brasserie Knot’s JIRI (Hazy IPA). The former is presented as an Irish Red with malt-driven toastiness, while the latter is described as a juicy Hazy IPA with tropical aromatics and a smooth mouthfeel. Together, they add a clear contrast in flavor and aroma.
Awashima Soko is a compact beer pub that recommends small-group visits, making it a place where drinkers can slow down and work through the tap list one glass at a time. With a mix of a hoppy pilsner, golden ale, Irish red, hazy IPA, and IPA, the selection gives beer fans a broad range of styles to choose from depending on the night.
