Draft Beer on April 30

Taki~AKANE~JapaneseBeer&SakeDining (Dogenzaka, Shibuya) will be open from 5 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, April 30. For the first two hours after opening, "Akane's Happy Time!" is scheduled, making it easy to sample the draft beers early in the evening.

Beers Available That Day

There are three draft beers. The lineup includes Tokyo's Augs Beer "Original (Pilsner)," Saitama's COEDO "Kyara (IPL)," and Sapporo Beer "Shiro Hono Ka." It is a set that makes it easy to compare beers with different directions: the drinkability of a pilsner, the maltiness of an IPL, and the soft mouthfeel of Shiro Hono Ka.

Shop Features and Pairings

The shop is a beer pub centered on Japanese craft beer and sake, operating as the second location of Shibuya's "Taki." In the calm setting of Dogenzaka, it is easy to use for an after-work drink or a small-group gathering. The food menu is centered on items that pair well with beer, such as black edamame, iburigakko with sake lees cream cheese, spicy potato fries, a spring salad with new onions, sakura shrimp, and shirasu, and fried oysters. The appeal is in enjoying the draft beer as the main attraction, paired with salty small plates.

Sake Also Available

The sake for the day is Nagasaki's Fukukai Nama Yamadanishiki and Saga's Amabuki Jun Gin Chokarakuchi Junmai Nama "Poseidon." After drinking beer, it is easy to switch to sake to finish the night. It is a lineup suited to people who want to enjoy both craft beer and sake in one evening.
